Stories of Hope and Transformation: Your Role as the Hero
Asabe’s Journey to Finding Christ
Asabe (Ah-sah-bay) and Yaki follow African traditional religion that is rooted in syncretism – the fusion of various religions and the belief in the manifestation of many spirits. At one time, Asabe was devoted to her local church, but she lost interest – having never formed a true relationship with Christ. It was then that she turned to syncretism. Later, she heard for the first time, the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, told in Polchi – her native language. When asked what she learned from the story, she responded, “I have heard several sermons about the death of Christ, but this time it feels new to me in my language, and in how it was told. I understand now that Jesus Christ died for my sins.”
Looking Ahead: Shaping the Future Together
As we move forward, your continued support will allow us to spread God’s Word to many more oral communities, bringing oral Bible translation and Bible stories to more communities that transform countless lives. We can only achieve our mission with your dedication and generosity. Together, we can help fulfill the Great Commission.
Spoken Partnership Now and Tomorrow
The impact of our partnership goes beyond numbers and statistics – it’s about the lives changed by the gospel. It’s about the new brothers and sisters in Christ and the expansion of God’s Kingdom. By working together, we can continue to make a profound difference in making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
