At the center of our 2024 work is a conviction that has guided Spoken Worldwide from the beginning: that oral learners deserve the same access to Scripture that literate communities have long enjoyed. Two-thirds of the world’s population processes information best through listening and oral storytelling rather than reading, and yet the vast majority of Bible translation and Christian discipleship resources have historically been designed for readers. This report highlights how Spoken continued to close that gap in 2024 — through faithful oral Bible translation, oral discipleship training, and technology that multiplies the impact of indigenous believers sharing Truth within their own communities.

This year also brought important growth in how we partner with the global Church. Rather than working from the outside in, Spoken equips and walks alongside local believers — men and women who carry their mother tongue in their hearts and the gospel in their hands. The fruit of that approach is visible throughout these pages.
